About Mike Rider

Mike Rider is an artist, originally from San Leandro, California.

He graduated from Arizona State University
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing.

Mike spent many years working in technical and freelance illustration. He was a character cleanup animation artist at Fox Animation Studios and a key character animation artist at Anvil Studios in Phoenix on many animated films:

Mike Rider currently teaches life drawing and animation at The Art Institute of Phoenix.

His paintings may be seen, and purchased, at the Jezebel Gallery in Madrid, New Mexico.
